Author Registration Guidelines
- Registration will open on or before September 2, 2025.
- Please note: for an accepted paper to be presented and, following presentation, be included in the proceedings/IEEE Xplore at least one author must be registered with a qualifying Full Conference Registration by October 14, 2025.*
- Each paper must be covered by an Author Full Conference Registration. Student and Life Member Registration fees do not cover paper publication/presentation.
- Accepted papers will be subject to the registration requirements of this conference.
- Each Author Full Conference Registration fee may cover up to (2) papers.
- Each Author Full Conference Registration may add up to (1) Additional Paper fee to register a 3rd paper. No more than 3 papers may be covered by 1 registration.
- All Author Full Conference Registration fees include Workshops & Tutorials, Admission for (1) to the Conference Gala Dinner, and Admission for (1) to the Welcome Reception.
*Student, Life Member, Workshop Only, or Single Day registration fees cannot be used for the publication of an accepted paper. If the author registering to cover the paper publication is a student, he/she has to pay the appropriate Author Full Conference fee. Members to whom the society bylaws grant special discounts (e.g., Life members of the IEEE) cannot use the discounted rates to cover the publication of an accepted paper: they have to pay the member fee. In the case no registration has been received and correctly processed to cover the paper publication, the conference organizers will contact the authors before the paper is removed from the proceedings.
Bank Transfers
If you are paying by credit card, please register directly online through the registration portal. If you will be paying via wire transfer (non-refundable), please fill out the online registration form and select pay by bank transfer. You will then be sent an invoice to submit your payment. All Wire Transfer / Bankt Transfer transactions will incur an additional $25 Wire Transfer Fee.
Cancellation Policy
- All refund/cancellation requests must be received by November 1, 2025. You can modify or cancel your registration using the “Already Registered?” link on the registration site. After cancelling your registration, you must contact the IEEE TALE Conference Manager to request your refund be issued.
- A $50 Administrative Fee will be deducted from all refunds.
- Payments via Wire Transfer / Bank Transfer are strictly non-refundable.
Registration FAQ
Do I have to pay for my registration before I can upload my final manuscript?
Yes, with some exceptions for registrants pending university approval.
All authors must still register before the deadline to receive your registration confirmation number. Your Registration Confirmation Number is the required code you need to upload your paper. If you select Wire / Bank Transfer as your method of payment, payment is not required immediately, but you will be invoiced after completing your registration. You may revert to paying via credit card at any time. For wire transfer invoices, please allow 1-2 business days for your invoice to be manually issued by the Conference Staff.
Please note: It is generally expected that all payment be fully received before the deadline. If you plan to register via Wire Transfer OR require approval from your institution, please plan accordingly to ensure your payment is received before the deadline. If you require extra time to submit payment after the deadline, please follow the steps below:
- Register fully selecting Wire Transfer / Bank Transfer as your method of payment
- Email the Conference Manager with your expected payment date. Extensions for payment only will be considered on a case by case basis. No late paper submissions due to registration delays will be permitted.

I am receiving a payment error when I attempt to register. How do I pay?
Please contact your banking institution to verify all is in order for the payment. Please also verify all card details including your billing address is accurate. If you continue to have a Payment Error issue, the options are as follows:
- Pay via Wire Transfer ($25 Fee)
- The Conference Manager can attempt a payment on your behalf. This requires the completion of a credit card authorization form which will be emailed to you. Please contact the Conference Manager if you would like to receive a credit card authorization form.
Can I pay in my local currency?
All payments must be made in USD to ensure that the full amount is received.
Can I get a receipt for my payment to attend the conference?
Receipts will be issued electronically via email and this will be the only form of receipt.
